Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I typically provide flat rate pricing per job. I can also provide an itemized time and materials invoice if need be. I work efficiently with the jobs I take, regardless of the price.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Quick greeting with owner. Play with/wrangle dogs a bit. History of issue, length of ownership, etc.. Sometimes I have questions that don't seem to have anything to do with plumbing, they usually do though. Certainty takes time and input. Verbal and written authorization required for all work to be performed. Off to the races!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Licensed Plumber with State of Michigan. Many other industry related certifications and contacts as well.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Desire for working knowledge of everyday systems and mechanics. That and the trade school was adjacent to the Dealership that fired me for being honest! True story.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked the complete spectrum. From assisting owners preserving historic properties, both residential and commercial; To plumbing single family, MDU, commercial and industrial construction jobs. I'd rather keep it simple these days though.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
The new Graphic Packaging build has some memorable memories for sure.. Years.
