What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

To be honest we aren't the cheapest. Our prices are fair and based off what it takes for a business owner to earn a living in today's world while also paying for the necessary business expenses we have. Your getting peace of mind and a efficient repair or installation when you hire City Plumbing.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

If you haven't used our services before, you can expect us to gather information from you about the plumbing service your requesting. This information is used for diagnostic purposes so we can be prepared before we even come to your home or business. This will save you time and money.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have mostly field experience when it comes to plumbing. I've been working on plumbing systems since 1998. In 2010 is when I earned my Florida State Plumbing Contractors Certification and ever since I've been taking classes to keep up with my certification.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have a talent for fixing things and at the time my friend offered me an opportunity to meet someone who was looking to hire someone as an apprentice so I took the position.

What types of customers have you worked with?

My customers are home owners, landlords, realtors, business owners and all with amazing personalities.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I love clearing drain clogs and finding solutions to these repeated problems. We cleared a stoppage recently affecting a home, water would come up out of the shower and toilet after they flushed the toilets in this home. After the stoppage was cleared we used our sewer video camera and found roots. We removed the roots entirely with our equipment then we discovered the piping was broken from the roots so at this point we located the break in the piping with our location device and dug the piping up in the front yard. We repaired the piping to solve not only the problem but the cause of the problem. It took us about two hours to clear and locate this issue. Another 6hrs for the excavation and repair of the piping.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would advise a customer to meet their prospective plumber and ask specific questions about the job they are looking to hire them for. It is also important to make sure the plumbing company is licensed and insured.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

The more details about your problem you can give to the professional the more efficient the professional can work to solve that problem. For example: (1) What's happening? "I'm seeing a drip from my ceiling after I flush my toilet in the second floor master bathroom" (2) Where is it happening and be specific? Not only the room it's in but where on the object are you seeing, feeling or hearing a leak, smell, heat, cold etc.. (3) Did you isolate the problem by shutting something off? "I shut my main water shutoff valve on the side of my house to stop the leak" (4) What has the problem affected? "My cabinets under my sink are soaked"
