Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We charge $39 to send a trained technician out to your house to evaluate what is needed and quote the job. We waive this when you do the work. We do have $25 coupons we can take off your work, and if you are a veteran we have $35 coupons available.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We don't need much, we just ask the the name that the job will be listed under, the job address, phone number and a good email. We also like to hear where you heard about us. When we have that we just find the right time to schedule your appointment!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
All of our technicians started out as apprentices and now have several years experience as a lead technician. We have weekly meetings for continued training in new products, code changes, and any other areas we can improve.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
When I was a kid I used to watch the plumber when he came to my parents house. I was fascinated. When I turned 16 I started working for him part time. I graduated high school a year early at 17 and went full time into plumbing while doing trade schooling nights. I went on to get my Master Plumbing License when I was 21 years old. Since then I have continued to work in the field and am always learning.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We work with all sorts of customers.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We did a new water line for a customer who went from being on a well to using county water. It took one day to do the job, but since there was an inspection required it took an additional two days to fully complete. One of the things I like about this kind of job was that we cut out the nice grass and set it aside. Once we burred the pipe we put the sod back and you almost couldn't tell we had been there.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
There are two important things to consider. The first is to make sure they are licensed and insured for the work they are doing. Unfortunately there are those in our area that are not. The second is to feel comfortable with the plumber. If they give you an uneasy feeling, keep looking. You should do work with people you like and trust, and if the plumber who is there is not likable or trustworthy then I would get a second opinion.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
If it is a bigger more involved job it is most efficient to have everyone who will be a part of the decision available when the technician arrives. This allows for the most efficient response to any and all questions associated with the project.
