What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I have a $125.00 minimum. I offer discounts for referrals and I charge based on the job. That being said every job is unique and has pricing catered especially for it.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Establish contact and build relationship. From there I ask where they heard of my company and if they were referred. We then proceed to dive into the details of the clients needs and I do everything I can to ensure those needs are not only met but exceeded.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have an associates degree in business, I have a drafting certification acquired in the state of Florida, and I’m registered to do all handyman tasks under my business Alberts Handyman Services.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I’ve been working in the building industry since 2004 when my father took me under his wing and taught me skills in almost every field of the home improvement industry.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Residential

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently built a custom wall unit with two barn doors on it that turned out very nice. It took 1 week.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure you contact them directly so that you can receive a quote that is customized to your specific needs. Not all jobs are created equal.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What is your budget and when are you able to get started. You want to make sure you’re ready to have the project done before reaching out on thumbtack.
