What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing is honest and fair. I work as handyman not as a licensed contractor this saves you money over larger licensed electrical and plumbing companies. I carry the same multi -million dollar contractors insurance coverage for your protection and offer 1 year workmanship warranty.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

My typical process is fast response times using clear communication about job requirements and scheduling. This is followed up with reliable follow through to get your job done quickly and efficiently with your complete satisfaction as my top priority.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

2 year residential electrical wiring courses at Frederick Community College Vocational program in Maryland. Apprentice with my local electrical union for 2 years. Gunneau's Home Services was founded in 1993. I have over 30 years of real time contracting work experience with residential and commercial owners, contractors and subcontractors servicing electrical, plumbing, hvac, flooring, doors, windows, trim, appliances and most other home repairs and maintenance.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I've been maintaining and repairing things for as long as I can remember. I've always been curious and interested in how things operate.

What types of customers have you worked with?

For over 30 years I have performed professional contractor services for residential and commercial, home and business owners, federal and state contractors as well as providing services for home improvement companies including Lowes, Home Depot and Sherwin Williams.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We just completed a really nice laminate floor for a dental office near Richmond. Pictures are posted on my profile. We removed all the old carpet, pad and trim. Our new laminate and trim work really made the old building into a great new professional office space.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Plan ahead and have a clear mission to accomplish. Keeping real-time communication between contractor and home owner with respect for design and planning, budget estimates, and completion timeline estimates.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Design - Planning and discovery is essential with your contractor and homeowner together. This discussion should discover what the plans are and if they are possible according to design, cost and timeline. 1. Cost estimate - How much the project will cost. 2. Timeline estimates- What period of time the project or repair will take. 3. Warranty - What the warranty covers and for how long.
