Hello, my name is Ben Caliz, I have been in the Service Plumbing Industry since Sept 2007. I specialize in all residential and commercial emergency service and repairs. I established Cali'z Plumbing in 2020 to provide customers with the most trustworthy plumbing service. We were incorporated as of July 2020 and obtained our California State Contractors Liscense as of July 2021. I love what I do and I am good at it. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

To establish a trust worthy relationship with my customer. To be professional and ask the neccessary questions in order to diagnose issues when not on site and give recommendations that could stop further damage until Ben arrives.🛵🤣

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

13 year experience in the plumbing trade an I appreciate every bit of it. I've met a lot of people, I've helped a lot of people. Hiring a random contractor can be stressful. Have a go to plumber and you'll never have to waste time sorting through the rest.👍

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was hired as a service plumber in 2007 an I have been doing it ever since. I enjoy helping people who really need it and my customers appreciate me. They think im a good plumber and a good person.👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

What types of customers have you worked with?

Doing this for close to 13 years I specialize in residential and commercial properties. I have done work for multiple property management companies and home owners associations as well. 🤝

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Here's one. A lady just hired me for the first time on Thumbtack the other day in Tracy. Wednesday July 28th to be exact. Mind you im located in Newark near Fremont. I went an replaced her water heater for her. It took me about 1 and 15 mintues to get there, about 2 hours for the replacement an 1 hour back home. When i got there she said she had another issue but didnt mention it because she couldnt afford it an didn't tell me. When I asked her what it was she said,"Our shower drains slow when we take a shower so we kind of stand in a puddle when showering". I said "I wish u would have mentioned it before I came I would have serviced it for you for no extra charge. So I made her a deal. "I will come back on Friday on my way out of town an service the shower drain for you for free" an she couldn't believe it an offered to make me cookies to take on my road trip since I wasnt asking her for more money. Doing good deed's like that make me feel like good things happen to me and the people around me. I successfully was able service the master shower and it drains like normal. I got some cookies for the road and I was on my way and those cookies were great!.🤤

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Picture this... You have a plumbing issue at any given time of day or night. You then think to yourself,"oh thats a no brainer" let me blow up Ben's phone, he's our family plumber. He will know what to do or be able to answer any of my questions. 😁
