I recently just returned to this website. As a result I dont have any reviews yet. I have been an independent plumber for twenty years. I always try to explain to customer what the problem is before starting. Being well informed helps clients understand what is needed to complete the job .

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Drain cleaning costs 75 dollars an hour . most jobs take 1 to 2 hours to complete depending on severity of problem. Most other calls are done by bids.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Let customer know what their options are.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I speak Spanish and Portuguese and I often work with other plumbers and am constantly improving my quality of work.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I enjoy fixing problems and working with private home owners.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have a large volume of drain cleaning calls so I am very good at clearing drains. In addition, I am good at sewer repair and replacement(trenchless method) ad well as copper re pipes and kitchen/ bathroom re models.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently re piped a duplex in Berkeley. I changed out the 1/2 inch galvanized lines and up graded to a 3/4 inch line with 1/2 branches feeding the various house lines. The water pressure is excellent now.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always ask as many questions as possible. That is how you best learn what to do.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

First you should have inspected area in doubt. Have some fotos if possible and think about your options.
