Discount Plumbing Rooter Inc. started 30+ years ago as a small family-owned and operated business, and it continues to be the same today. But the business has grown tremendously in size thanks to the great repeat and referral customers we service daily. We are now able to offer a wide range of services from Residential, Commercial, and Underground Engineering. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our pricing is typically 20-30% lower than the competition. In the event that you do find a lower price, we’ll do our best to match or beat it!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We provide free consultations and never charge a travel fee to stop by and inspect the issue. Once diagnosed, we’ll provide you with an estimate to fix it and we can get started right away once we have your approval.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

CA State Contractors Board License C36 and Engineering License

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Plumbing is a family business. I have multiple plumbers in my family and some also work in the trades (Construction, etc.)

What types of customers have you worked with?

We are primarily focused on residential customers but will also work on commercial buildings and with Real Estate Agents.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Every week we complete 25 sewer lateral replacements. 90% of these jobs are completed in only 1 business day.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Any time you’re hiring a plumber, you must ensure they are licensed, bonded and insured. There are lots of “plumbing” companies in the Bay Area that do not have proper licensing which puts the homeowner at risk
