Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My prices are always fair I wouldn’t say we are the lowest but we are certainly not the highest. A plumber that offers a very low price I would never trust. They are only trying to get their foot in the door to charge you more later. (beware of these plumbers) I am always fair with my customers and completely transparent of my labor and parts.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I normally contact the customer over the phone find out what they need done. After introducing my self,I will have them send me pictures so I can get a better idea of what we are dealing with project wise. If I can save the customer and my self time & money, I will. From there we will setup an appointment. Once setting foot on the property I shake hands with the customer and get a feel for who they are and how I can help them. I’m very sharp, enthusiastic, gregarious and professional. I love working with people and enjoy helping them with their plumbing needs. I go above and beyond for every customer!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I’ve been working construction since the age of 22 and been around a lot of job sites. Carpentry, Finish Carpentry, Tile & Stone, Furniture refinishing, Drywall, General Construction, Painting, brickwork, remodels, hot moping, commercial & residential. You name it I’ve probably done it. I’ve been pursuing plumbing for the past 5 years non stop. Anyone can pick up a book and read but when it comes to plumbing it comes with a lot of learning and making mistakes. Plumbing is a trade which takes an huge amount of skill and knowledge. “You will never stop learning as a plumber” - Ryan Kling

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My older brother was a plumber when I was in school. I was always fascinated by the work they did. I heard it was hard trade to learn and also hard work! I began working with a few local plumbers within the OC. After getting a taste I was hooked and haven’t looked back. My best friend is a 20+ year master plumber and we have worked together for a long time. There is a great feeling I get doing plumbing and completing a job. I like to work hard and be a hero for the customer. Plumbing and construction runs in my family and being a tradesman comes naturally to me. Basically I’m sold!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
All types, everything from home owners, renters, and commercial property owners!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
100 gallon water heater we installed for a local restaurant here in Orange County. Took us about 4 to 5 hours all together. I was glad to get The Cliff Restaurant back up and running within 1 day. With the right venting and programming of the water heater everything went very smoothly. We were glad to see our friends back in business with piping hot water!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Most plumbers in this area are good. Make sure they are honest or referred from a friend. Generally plumbers that offer rock bottom prices, tack on new prices as they go through the job. A plumber that asks for more from the start is being more honest with you and himself. Plumbing can be a costly thing, but a plumber that knows his stuff and is honest will save you more money & time in the long run.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What are the best plumbing products to buy. How long will the job take. Making sure they know exactly what needs to be done, to the best of their knowledge.
