What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our skilled technicians arrive in a fully stocked service vehicle, bring drop cloths and wear ‘booties’ to protect your home. He will perform a complete diagnosis, then propose a range of solutions. Gray Plumbing utilizes a menu pricing system so you will know how much it will cost before the work begins. We don’t charge for travel time and give a uniform “flat rate” schedule to all of our customers which saves you money.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We give our client's a fixed price up front. Most of the time there are options that fit the situation and budget. In order for us to give solutions for your issues we have to take a look at it. We will come to you home or business take a look at your issue and give you a flat rate price that will not change unless your problem requires further diagnosis.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a graduate of the PHCC and received my Building Trades Journeyman card from the Local 343.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Jeffrey Gray is the owner of Gray Plumbing Inc. and was born and raised in the Oakland California. Jeff started working in construction with his grandfather at the age of 16 but stepped away from the trades to join the US Army directly out of high school. After receiving an Honorable Discharge he decided to pursue a career in music as a recording engineer and record producer. As time went on he got married to the love of his life Patricia and along came his three sons Robert, William and Jonathan. To support his family he became a plumber and completed his apprenticeship at the Plumbing Heating and Cooling Contractors Association (PHCC) in Alameda County. Jeff received his C-36 plumbing contracting license from the state of California in 2004. Jeff's commitment to excellence, professionalism and honesty in business and in life are the core values on which the company is built.
