Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Realm Restoration offers completely transparent pricing! Generally Speaking, when it comes to restoration services there are two ways for these services to be paid. #1 Through Insurance We will help you assess the damage in your home while taking into account your insurance deductible and policy. There are many occasions in which the damage does not merit an insurance claim. However, if it does, we'll help you navigate this process. If your property damage meets your needs to go through an insurance claim we'll help to provide the information you need to file it, start the work that will be covered, and send over the estimate to your insurance. We use the software and process that insurance requires to estimate the damage properly to get your property back together as quickly and efficiently as possible. We don't have any hidden fees or costs when going through insurance. We bill insurance directly and leave you with no out of pocket costs. #2 Outside of Insurance If the damage to your property is not deemed a good candidate for an insurance claim, we'll work with you to provide services and and estimate accordingly. There can be many reasons why a claim is not necessary, not significant damage, damage is not covered, damage is far less than an insurance deductible, risk of being dropped from property insurance, etc. When no claim is needed, we provide estimates upfront so you know exactly what your price is! Feel free to contact us with any questions on pricing. As mentioned we do a free consultation to help you determine the best route for your property's restoration.

The process of property damage restoration can be confusing and difficult to navigate. Working with us we'll help clarify all the steps in this process according to your unique circumstance. Generally these are the steps we go through to help make this process seamless: 1. First contact Whether by phone, text, email, social media, or webform, we gather as much information on your situation as possible. Who: is the homeowner, or who are occupants of the property What: is the visible damage that has occurred When: did the damage occur or when was it noticed Where: is the property and at what part of is affected Why: has the damage taken place (cause of damage) How: has the damage spread from the source 2. We're on our way! We do a free in person assessment to confirm who, what, when, where, why, and how and help provide any further details and investigate any further information needed. We use industry standard instruments to find damage that isn't always apparent to our eye. Moisture Meters and Forward Looking Infrared Cameras help us to find the real extent of the damage that has occurred. 3. Rolling up the Sleeves Once the cause of damage has been identified and process of understanding the extent of the damage. We'll start by protecting the areas of your home that aren't damaged. We'll put up containment and begin removing the damaged and affected areas. 4. Equipment After all the damage is removed, our technicians will remediate the affected area with the appropriate approved cleaners to ensure proper mitigation is completed. Once finished most circumstances will require air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA filters to be on site to ensure the premises are drying out properly. 5. Submitting to Insurance If your situation necessitates an insurance claim we'll submit it to your insurance adjustor and follow up to close out the insurance process for the mitigation of the damage that occurred. If no claim was needed we'll submit to you the final invoice. 6. Reconstruction Even before the mitigation is completely finished the estimate for reconstruction can be started to get your property put back together. We'll work closely with your project manage to ensure your property is pristine!

With over 15 of experience in the industry and with all types of property damage we've seen it all! Fire, water, mold, asbestos, and lead. Chances are we've seen and completed a job just like or similar to yours. If we haven't done a job exactly like yours, we'll know how to do it!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
We started Realm Restoration because we saw a need to help homeowners return to their normal lives when unfortunate events occur in their residences. The insurance claim process can be challenging to navigate, hard to understand, and take more time than anticipated. We assist our homeowners in understanding and successfully navigating this process. We also provide water, fire, mold, and asbestos remediation services that restore peace to their homes.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with all types of customers in all types of setting and properties. Here are a couple of examples: A client of ours had all of her toilets, showers, bathtubs, and sinks overflow with sewage! Yuck! This resulted in a major repair needed to her drain line underneath her house! This extensive process required her concrete and tile floors to be cut to give access to our plumbers to be able to repair a broken drain line. The sewage had contaminated the areas where it was overflowing resulting in a category 3 mitigation process. This project had well over 6 digits of damage and repairs needed! Another one of our customers had a water heater break! They caught the leaks quicky and the water damage did not spread far from the pedestal in the garage. The damage resulted in under $1K. We were able to help them avoid an insurance claim, remove the damaged area to prevent any mold growth, and get their area restored better than before. In conclusion, if your damage results in $100,000 or less than a thousand we're here to help.
