How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I got started working with my dad since a young age (12 years old), and I loved it. Being outdoors, contributing to making someone else's home beautiful gave me a sense of well being, and now I am strictly focused in promoting water conservation.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with "do it your selfers" that need a consultation, customers that need help bringing their property to a higher standard, customers that want maintenance, customers that have been abused or deceived and all kinds of projects that require a landscaper who understands the needs of the customer through a clear communication process.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We are proud of all the projects that we perform since we do it deploying all of our capabilities and resources to make sure we can maximize the results. One of them is a project that we performed in a home that needed to be sold immediately and required a touch in order to make it appealing. We immediately deployed all of our staff and performed a general trimming and fertilization of all the trees to make them look healthy, we also added decorative gravel on all planters and made everything look aesthetically appealing for a video. Our customer trusted us and empowered us to decide what to do in the property in order to bring it to a higher standard. We stayed within a $1000>budget and our client was very happy with the results. (this customer is available to refer upon request) This is the most recent project done and it took about 3 days.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
When using Thumbtack, my advice is to be polite to contractors listed in this site. Respecting the contractors time to reply by at least replying back with a thank you will make a difference. Many of the consumers that look for services are not aware that contractors pay to get in contact with them, therefore it would be polite to simply reply and thank them for considering their project.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
I would recommend a clear communication and to craft a few questions before the appointment. I would recommend to have a budget in mind, and to have an idea of the desired outcome in terms of design and functionality. These are some of the questions I would suggest: 1) How experienced are you? 2) Will you be involved directly in the project? 3) My budget is x, what are some ways to achieve the project staying under my budget? 4) Can you guarantee your crafmanship?
