What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been a drain video inspector for 8 years. I have been assessing drain sewer systems anywhere from roots, cracks, broken, grease and debris.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started plumbing out of high school learning the ins and outs of the industry. I learned everything I could and saw that the public needs more unbiased reporting for drain inspections. I have seen first hand how plumbing companies use the camera as a tool to upsell into more costly repairs. I wanted to provide the public with honest, unbiased, and transparent reporting about their drains.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Anytime you have back up, orders, buying or selling of a home. Always get an unbiased opinion. As plumbing company’s use video camera inspection as a tool to sell you unnecessary work. At Drain Spies we hold our head high as all we do is video camera inspection. We have no bias just results for you in a time of chaos, and uncertainty.
