Health Rights Hotline

The Health Rights Hotline provides free assistance and information about consumer rights in health care to residents of El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento and Yolo counties in California. Trained counselors answer general questions about consumers' rights in health care and help consumers resolve specific problems with their health coverage. No matter how consumers get their coverage - through an employer, by purchasing an individual policy, or from Medicare, Medi-Cal, or CHAMPUS - and regardless of the type of plan they have - Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) or other plan - the Health Rights Hotline can help.
