Introduction

Landscapes can be complex to design and hard work to build and maintain. High quality, sustainable landscaping solutions often require an understanding of soils, plants, horticulture, and various construction methods. Plan-It Vision provides landscaping services so that you can relax and enjoy your piece of the planet. Trevor has a Landscape Architecture degree and various professional experience in design, maintenance, and construction aspects of the landscaping industry. We currently specialize in full service landscape maintenance - including lawns and proper tree and shrub care. We also specialize in installation of softscaping (plants, lawns, mulch), landscape lighting, and hardscaping (pavers, flagstone). We can help solve your landscaping issues.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I offer free consultations. After viewing the landscape and discussing your needs, I will give you a price quote. Our hourly rate is currently $65 per hour per person. But I may prefer to give you a flat rate price for the total cost of the job, depending on the circumstances.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I like to meet with the customer about potential design or maintenance work, get to know them and their needs, and then propose the type of service I will provide along with a price. Let's just take a step at a time.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from WSU. I have 4 additional years of experience in the landscape industry working for companies in the landscape design and construction fields. Much of my expertise has come from nearly 10 years of hands-on work maintaining gardens, designing and building landscape solutions, and paying attention to how plants and landscapes grow and change and what makes a failure or success.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Thanks to Thumbtack.com I was able to launch my business. Within 10 minutes of creating my profile I booked my first job and began hauling tools and a mower in the back of my Subaru. I've come a long way since then.
