Introduction

Wasatch Eco-Mow offers a cleaner, quieter, more eco-friendly alternative to lawn maintenance. We are the first lawn service company in Utah to use a combination of traditional gas powered equipment alongside battery powered electric equipment for greatly reduced emissions. What does this mean for you? you get a lawn service company that is doing what we can to combat our issues with clean air at a price that is comparable to our competition. Our other services include fertilizer, aerating, mulching, over seeding, and spring/fall clean-up. Wasatch Eco-Mow is locally owned and operated. We currently service Salt Lake City from the avenues to Holladay, east of I-15 . Our weekly or bi-weekly service includes mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing off walkways and driveways. We are licensed and insured.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Most of our lawn care customers are $25-40 for weekly mowing. Other services are priced by the job depending on how much work needs to be done. We are always happy to give a free quote.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
When a new lawn customer reaches out to us, we are usually able to gather there property address and get them a quick quote by looking there house up online. From there it is either a quick phone conversation or correspondence through Thumbtack to gather some additional info and get them on our schedule. We are often able to show up within the next few days for there first service. We also make billing easy by emailing monthly invoices that can be paid online with a card or PayPal transfer.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Many hours walking behind a mower and trimmer.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Like many, I started out mowing a few yards part time. But over the last 3 years my business has grown to include 2-3 full time employees each summer. We now service approx. 150 lawns customers per week and hope to grow that to 200 this coming summer.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
The majority of our work is lawn maintenance which includes: weekly and bi-weekly mowing and organic fertilizing programs. We also do one time jobs such as: mulch delivery and installation, shrub trimming, top dressing and over seeding lawns, aerating, spring and fall clean up.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
One of the complaints I often hear from new customers is that there previous service was unreliable. A good place to start when hiring a new lawn service company is to check there customer reviews from a reliable source like Thumbtack, Yelp, or Google. That will usually give you a good idea of what kind of company you will be dealing with.
