Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our pricing is very straightforward. We price based upon the quantity in yards of material that is delivered and installed. We also allow for small project add-ons as suggested by the customer. Add-ons (ex. trimming, spring cleanup, etc.) will be charged based upon estimated time.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
When working with a new customer, we follow the exact same process every time. 1. The company responds to customer and schedules a free estimate. 2. After the quote, if the customer wants to move forward with our services, both parties will sign a service contract. 3. The company will receive half payment up front, and half payment once the job is completed. 4. Once the job is completed, we will make sure that the customer is satisfied with their landscape job. If a problem arises any time before, during, or after a job, we will address it promptly.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Our estimators have training in conducting efficient and accurate estimates, and all our employees have experience in their work that allows them to be among the best in the trade.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
We started doing this type of work at a very young age. Gradually, we moved away from being employed by another landscaper to starting our own business. This allowed us to provide much higher quality of work. It also allowed us to relate to customers in a professional and personal way, which is not always the standard in the landscaping industry.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked, and are willing to work, with all types of customers. We have quoted mulch jobs any size from 3-100 yards! No job is too big or too small. If you work with All-American Mulching, we will make your mulch look great again!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
The projects that we are most fond of tend to be our mulch installations. Nothing can increase curb appeal and really make your landscape pop like a fresh mulch installation.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
We would advise a customer in our area to work with someone they trust. Does the provider have insurance? Use a contract? Etc. Shady landscapers are not uncommon, so it is important to work with someone who you can trust, and has a history of doing good work.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Before talking to a professional, customers should look at their landscape and see what they want changed. Many professional landscapers are very good at suggesting ideas for change, and explaining the steps of that process. As long as the customer knows what they want changed, a professional will be able to suggest next steps to help your landscape look beautiful.
