How did you get started doing this type of work?

21 years ago, we need to supplement our incomes. So we decided to invest in ourselves to provide residential/commercial tree removal and trimming to be able to pay bills and provide extras for our family of 4.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Arnold, Maryland residential home, a local property mamangement company contacted us to estimate a tree trimming job. The company he hired did not show up. So, I went to provide quote and the same day my husband, and son trimmed 10 limbs. The property manager was amazed , and the home owner was thrilled, as we cleaned/hauled away the limbs and a little extra to make the area beautiful to the eye.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Verify license and insurance, make sure you feel comfortable with the conversation and company you are reaching out to.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Mowing/Trimming - provide sq footage of property, take into consideration of obstacles in the yard, length of time to mow and weed eat entire area, what equipment is needed tractor, weed eater, blower. bagging/hauling? How long would it take if I did the work myself and what would I want to be paid? Tree removal/trimming - trunk diamter, location if near any obtacles, tree is diseased or rotted
