Introduction

We are a GA based, veteran owned and operated company. Have been doing donation based landscaping and lawn maintenance for the elderly only since 2008. Up until recently, we decided to open up our services in 2022 to the public (non- elderly). Our goal remains the same as we strive to bring customer satisfaction in all aspects of the landscape design, landscape, and/ or lawn maintenance. We thank you for your new business, and continued business in the future. GA certified landscape professional. GA certified plant professional.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Due to inflation of goods, we had to increase our prices as well. We at Cardinal try to keep our prices as low as we possibly can as we all ride out this economic wave together. Together we can prosper when we help each other.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Meet the customer at the service location, ask how we can assist them, listen intently to their wants and needs for beautifying their landscape, and ask a few questions to clarify certain topics to get a better understanding of what they want. Then draw up a quote, and finalize all paperwork then begin the transformation of the landscape for the customer. We always treat our customers with respect they deserve.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Took landscaping in school, as well as getting UGA’s certifications for Landscaping and plants.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Merit badges, FFA, etc. My mother taught me about plants as a child. Dangerous plants, etc. Landscaping has always been a family trade starting with my great grandfather in Minnesota. We have continued on the tradition with myself being the fourth generation of landscaping and lawn maintenance service providers.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
High end residential and commercial clients. We do small to medium and large jobs.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Trimmed shrubs and hedges and removed clippings, removed old pine straw and installed new pine straw around them. Lawn maintenance. Took 3-4 days.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Do you pay for a cheap hair cut and always get what you want? Good looks will cost whether it’s a haircut or landscaping. Cheapest route isn’t always the best route… My mom and Dad always told me, “You get what you pay for…”

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Taking pictures of your landscape and writing and knowing what plants you want helps expedite the designing process. Listing down the colors you want in your landscaping also helps us in deciding what colorful plants the customer would like in it.
