What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We try to price our jobs as competitive as possible. We offer a great product with highly skilled installers so you know that your getting the most value for the money you spend with us.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First we like to meet out customers for a site visit to talk about the scope of work and what they are looking for. Then we would take measurements and. show sample of different turf depending on what they are wanting. Finally we would work up an estimate and schedule the job when the price is agreed upon.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We have over 22 years of combined landscape experience. on our leadership team. including 7 straight years of experience installing turf for every situation you could think of. We have some of the best turf installers in the city and our work speaks for itself. Check out our job photos!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

The owner Steven Sutherlin started small and then focused in on a needed niche and started installing turf. And as things usually go if you do good work people talk about it. So what started as a small landscaping company mowing a few residential accounts, Sutherlin Lawn and Landscaping has grown into one of the premier turf installation companies in Jacksonville. All the while still maintaining their roots in residential and commercial landscape maintenance.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked with a wide range of residential and commercial clients. From new construction to complete remodels. We love working with all kinds of people as we help to transform their outdoor space.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Honestly we are fond of all of the jobs we do. We love the look of a clean seamless turf job when its finished. Our jobs can vary in time of completion based on size of the job and the amount of access we have to get materials and equipment in place.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look for a proven track record of turf installation. It is a specialty within landscaping and there is nothing worse looking than a poorly installed turf job.

What do you want to use your outdoor space for? Remember its your space and your investing in how you want to enjoy it.
