What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Clients should know that our rates are comparable to the industry. However, our rates aren't always the cheapest. We bring value to our clients. Clients will get exactly what they pay for with us, which is professionalism, quality and guaranteed satisfaction work.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We typically like to meet in person and see the property. This way we can access the land and give an accurate quote. We also like for our clients to meet us so they can put a face with the name.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a licensed and certified landscaper. This also separates me from my competition.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Back in 2003 I was laid off from my job. So I went to work for the Seminole Reservation in Florida. There is where I learned all about landscaping. This is where my love for this art form began. A few years later I decided to go into business for myself.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Our main customers are typically residential. However, we have done some commercial work as well.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently had a woman who had her land destroyed by her former landscaper. She was hesitant in hiring someone new since her last experience was horrible. I was able to insure her that she would be taken care of. We actually did the first phase of the job for free just to show her we meant business. She was beside herself. We ended up doing the complete job in just a few days and she is now a client for life.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask as many questions as you can. Never feel like you are bothering a contractor by asking. This is your home and your money. You deserve to feel comfortable when hiring a professional.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Always ask for references as well as credentials. There are plenty of folks out there who say they know what they are doing but in reality have no clue.
