Qualifying your wants and needs offering you a fair price for the work.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Spent my youth working for lawn companies and landscapers

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Started working in lawn care as a teenager for a lawn service then a landscaping company. Spent the last 25 years as an operations manger and in customer service before returning to lawn care.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Started my business with my 15 year old son

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I had a customer that was looking for property maintenance. Not just lawn mowing. As the summer progressed I enjoyed working with the customer getting to understand what jobs he wanted done and those that were a priority. I enjoyed treating his property as if it were my own and going the extra mile to make it look great.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would look for a company in which the owner is hands on and takes pride in the work done in the field and who is connected to his or her customers.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Are you looking for quality work at a fair price. Do you want your lawn service to be completed by the owner of the business or a large crew that turns allot of properties in a day and isn’t going to worry as much about quality work.
