Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Pricing is difficult when comparing quotes due to the fact that you never know what you are going to get over the long term. Yard Techs is not the cheapest around. Our clients know they can find cheaper prices but stay with us because trust is priceless.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We like to set up an in-person quote to determine if its a good fit for everyone. After the initial meeting we build a lasting relationship.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
As a C-27 contractor we have gained years of on-the-job training in landscape and hardscape. Our training program for new hires last 3 to 4 months and is one on one with a highly skilled landscaping veteran.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
We identified a shortage of professional landscape companies and moved in.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with all types of customers. Our average client is either retired and wants to spend less time in the yard or a busy professional that just doesnt have enough time in the day.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
The team completed a large natural stone staircase that we think looks amazing. The staircase took one week. The project took 8 weeks.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Don't waste countless hours going back and forth with providers that are trying to nickel and dime you. If a provider isnt honest move on.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Do I want to work with a highly skilled provider? Or do I want to deal with the headaches of an inferior option?
