What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices depend on the size of the yard.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our interaction with new customers is very easy and quite simple. We first obtain basic information, perform an estimate, and then work on the job while keeping the customer up to date in every step of the way. With us, there is no guess work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
High experience base in landscape and groundskeeping work. Excellent familiarity with a variety of tree and plant types. Strong expertise in operating small and large hand and motorized garden and landscaping tools.
Good prioritizing and organizing skills. Excellent sound communication and interpersonal skills.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started working in landscaping when I was 16. I started helping my uncle every afternoon after school in order to gain experience in this field. I honestly can say I am very passionate on this field and love to make your yard look amazing.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We are fortunate to work alongside with a variety of customers. We’ve even won different type of clients in different areas of Arizona because we work with customers who have properties as small as 1,000 sq ft, from services like lawn mowing, fertilization, weed control, bush trimming, flower installations, flower bed maintenance, entire property maintenance, trenching, irrigation system installation, paver installment, ... of course, we do a lot more than this... but these are just the most common services that we preform every single day.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Every landscaping project we handle is different from those previously handled. That said, we make sure all our landscaping projects are finished within the agreed project timeline. Our operations do not permit us to sit on any project. All projects, big or small, are finished on time. We can do this because we take into account weather patterns every season. This means that something out of the ordinary has to happen to keep us from meeting our project completion goals and disrupt services.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Contact your friends, family, and local nurseries to get local recommendations. Interview two or three local landscape designers. Ask them about their design process and discuss any concerns you have about the project. See if they are a good fit for you personally.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Exceptional work takes time and energy. It's a lot harder than just mowing yards, trimming trees, putting up walls, laying down stones, or hauling debris. Some companies, like ourselves, take hiring honest and high quality workers seriously. And the really great companies train and train and train their crews to become the best not only at what they do but on what they can be.
