Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I strive to charge a fair market price for all of our services and projects. I don't mind explaining costs especially with how many changes we have gone through the last couple of years.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
First would be initial contact , phone , text, email. Setting up a time to meet about your project, then getting you on the schedule.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have a bachelor's degree in business and criminal justice. I have been working in the landscape world for the last 15 years.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
When I was younger I mostly worked in the food and beverage world. The hours worked out ok when I was going to college but wasn't really a good fit for me . I moved up the ladder at a golf club to food and beverage director. It took me a couple years to realize the corporate stress and the horrible hours, " nights, weekends, holidays" were not going to work for me.I had just had my first child and needed a more family friendly career. So I decided to go into business for myself. I have always enjoyed being outdoors so naturally landscaping was a good fit for me. I haven't looked back since.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with all different types of customers. Older, younger, people that need a little help or people that need me to take care of everything. Whatever your needs are, I'm there!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
When you meet a contractor make sure you generally feel good about them. Do they seem trustworthy? Did they show up on time for your first meeting? Did they seem educated on what they were talking about?
