I provide a free quote after an in person project evaluation.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

After the initial communication I offer a free in person project evaluation followed by a detailed quote. Once we have reached an agreement on the details of the project, pricing, timeline, and payment methods I offer a contract for the client to sign, protecting both myself and the customer from any unmet expectations. Then I take a deposit before starting the project to cover cost of material and the first day of work. After the work is completed I collect the remaining balance and discuss the project with the client to insure they are completely satisfied with the work done.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I completed an apprenticeship with Clover Meadows contracting in 2018-19 followed by time as a project manager for Blackline Building llc, Overhead Door ILM, and Coastal Cabinets ILM. I have 7+ years of experience, have been a part of over 200 projects ranging from small drywall repairs to working on multimillion dollar homes on Bald head island, Topsail Beach, and Wrightsville.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I completed an apprenticeship with Clover Meadows contracting in 2018-19 followed by time as a project manager for Blackline Building llc, Overhead Door ILM, and Coastal Cabinets ILM.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently did a bathroom remodel for a family friend after they tried to tackle the project on their own. I had to redo all of their work and renovate the entire bathroom which was a fun project! The entire project took 1 week, start to finish.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Try to work with smaller companies if you want a more personal connection and better communication. For example I respond to messages or phone calls by the end of the day every time while a bigger company may take days to get back to you let alone schedule your project! I am available to chat right now and we can most likely look at your project together sometime this week!

Make sure you have your expectations for budget and timeline in mind so the professional you work with will be able to provide an accurate estimate!
