What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My base price is $500 per day (8-9 hours) $250 minimum for small, handyman type jobs. (1/2 day) Winter discount is in effect until March 1st for all interior work. Get 10% off all labor!! What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Step 1)Call or text me to set up an appointment for me to look at your project. Step 2)At the appointment, I will take pictures, measurements, draw out a rough layout of floorplan and any changes to the floorplan, go over your ideas and talk about options. Step 3) I will put together a material list and labor cost. I will contact you with your estimate for the project. Step 4) Begin work!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have 15+ years of experience. I have owned my own business for 8+ years. I am a Licensed Builder. I have done just about everything you can do on a home.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started on a construction crew 15+ years ago. We built Pole barns, Dairy Barns, Homes, Additions, a wide range of construction. 8+ years ago I started my own business.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

The End-suite, tile bathroom and shower remodel pictured. I demolished 2 bedrooms and started with an OSB sub floor. I love doing tile bathrooms and showers because although they are a lot of work, I get to be artistic and creative. Everything is custom and no 2 are the same. This project took 10 weeks.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

We MUST have mutual trust. Proper planning is everything. Taking the time at the start of a big project to plan out everything is so well worth it. You will be glad you did in the end. The timeline, materials- (some need to be ordered and might have a 3 week lead time), best use of labor and if renting equipment is necessary There are so many variables and unknowns, especially in an old house.
