What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Ask me about discounts on cabinets, cabinet hardware, and accessories. I have vendor accounts in place and can get many items discounted.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet the customer at their location, to take measurements and see what the current situation is. After discussing rough project goals, we begin doing a rough estimate that covers basic materials and labor. If the customer accepts this estimate, at that point, we iron out final design details and scope of work to create the final estimate. Once approved, we begin the scheduling process and gather materials, followed by our favorite, DEMO DAY!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have training in construction processes and procedures, and successfully managed over 235+ renovation projects around Gwinnett and the Atlanta Metro area.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Growing up, my parents were builders and remodelors. Working side by side, I learned what it means to work with passion and strive for a quality finished product. In 2018, I began working construction in the commercial space, and shortly transitioned to a role as a Project Manager for a locally renown remodelor. In 2021, I founded Ideal Capital Improvemenets LLC, to bring customers high end removation results at a fair price.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of customers. I sometimes find myself asking customers why they want to hire me if they seem to know so much about the construction process, but they are usually few and far between. I am happy to take the time to explain and educate, so if you are not sure about what you want or would need, we can take you through the process to make the best selections for your project.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Research what a typical medium and high level remodel goes for in your area. make sure the contractor has good references and Google their name and company to see what information you find. Also check the company with Secretary of State to see how long it has been open or if there have been any complaints.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Customers should consider how much they would like to spend, and the value that the completed project will add to the property. When hiring a contractor, you are not only paying for work to be completed, but experience, knowledge, tools, connections, quality, and peace of mind.
