Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We offer different discounts for finish materials and rough materials

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We schedule a free on site or virtual consultation. In this first meeting, we’ll discuss your plans and desires. With this information we’ll prepare for you the scope of work and estimate. If possible in the same meeting. If the scope and estimate is to your liking we’ll move forward onto signing contracts. If the job requires a permit, our company will work with the city to acquire the permit then we are ready to start.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have been working my whole life in the industry. I am also licensed from CSLB

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I come from a family with deep roots in the industry. My mother was an interior home designer and father was a specialist in rehabilitating homes. I remember them working together when I was young kid along with my uncle, he’s an architect. My parents bringing me along in those early years really gave me the passion I have for my job today.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with all kinds of customers. Some from out of state even some living out of the country. We’ve worked with high and low budget customers. Customers that came fully prepared with plans and designs and customers that had no clue where to start.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We remodeled a 1960’s 3,000 SqFt home in Orinda. The whole house was small rooms, sections, hallways etc. We opened all the walls and created an entire new layout with 4 bedrooms, remodeled the old kitchen into beautiful modern kitchen with a large moving island, we converted 3 small bathrooms into 3 and half large bathrooms with walk in showers. One of them is a spa room with heated floors and freestanding tub. The new lighting and flooring also really made a nice final touch.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Have a good relationship with your provider. In the end of the day you are a team and having a good relationship and good communication will make the world of difference and your project a joyful experience.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Have an idea of what you want, the materials you would like to use the more information the better. If you just have an idea but unsure of the rest, we have many examples we can show you and the knowledge/resources to help you figure it out.
