Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We offer finance options through Cambria & Hearth which can transform the remodel you’ve been dreaming of into a reality with manageable monthly payments. You can get approved over the phone for these loans in a matter of minutes!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Upon reviewing the details of your project, we will schedule a site visit for you with one of our Estimators to take photos/measurements and discuss further details with you. We'll put together a proposal for your review. Once approved, we will set you up to select your tile, countertops, cabinets, etc. with our in-house Design Team to bring your vision to life.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
At Waller we believe that finding highly experienced and talented individuals is a must. Our Estimator/Design/Project management team has a combined experience of 262 years and an average career experience of 32 years! We also value continuing education. In house we hold a General Contractors license along with a Home Inspector License. We also have a licensed Architect and Interior Designer on staff. Our staff does complete ongoing training as well.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
We are a 3rd generation, family owned and operated company. Waller was founded by Robert "Bob" Waller in 1961. We are proud of the fact that we have been in business now for over 60 years!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with all kinds of customers over the last 60 years – as in that time we have completed over 7,500 projects! We work with people & families in all different stages of their lives – from the young family just starting out that need that first home updated – to the empty nesters that are finally ready to complete their dream Kitchen or Bathroom.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We recently completed a Kitchen remodel and flooring replacement/painting for the Codd family in Lakeland. The project went very smoothly and took approximately 6 weeks. What made this project extra special was how wonderful the Codd family was to our team and how much they enjoyed the transformation of their new Kitchen and home in general!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look for a true professional and a quality finished product. Make sure you understand exactly what you are getting – that your proposal is detailed and provides descriptions and/or allowances. Make sure the products being quoted are high quality and durable. We use very high grade products like Cambria countertops, Masterbrand cabinetry, and Florida Tile. We do this because in completing thousands of jobs – we know what materials will provide the quality finish you are looking for – and will hold up over time. We also go out of our way to provide detailed quotes and do the best we can to clearly explain to our customers what they are getting.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
The key things I think clients should know beforehand would be: • It is good to have an idea on the overall style and color scheme you are after. Looking at sites like Houzz.com can help you with this. • It will be very helpful if you have a clear scope of work in mind. Doesn’t have to be exact but a good general idea. • Many times clients feel pressure to do everything at once and then get overwhelmed and then end up doing nothing. Let us help you design something that really make a big difference but also help you stay within your means. • Financing can be a very helpful tool in helping you attain your remodeling goals. We offer two different sources to assist you if needed – both of these options are quick and pain-free. You can get approved in a matter of minutes. • Planning is also crucial – it takes time to design cabinets, make color/style selections/and finalize a scope of work. Contact your professional sooner than later so that you have plenty of time to go through the design and ordering process – which will then help your overall timeline on the back end.
