Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Customers should know that the pricing we give is that we try our very best to be affordable BUT also not compromising the quality of the finished project. Also we don’t charge extra random fee’s or have hidden fee’s that do not make sense. We also offer senior and military discounts.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Our typical process for working with a new customer is to build a relationship by talking on the phone and meeting in person to meet and to get to know each other and talk about the projects that is needed and give our professional opinion on how some things should get done and just share our knowledge with our customers.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have a residential contractors license and a masters degree in construction management.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started as a rough carpenter and did that for 4 years. My business partner was a block mason for 3 years. He also has a master degree in business management. I worked for a company for about 1 year that built the structural parts of a home as in the Foundation,Block, and rough carpentry. Then we both worked for the #1 builder in America for almost 2 years.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with ALL types of customers. We have worked with customers that want really nice custom work done. We have also worked with customers that have a budget in mind that they would like to stay in. As well as investors that flip homes. We have also worked with home builders that like to build homes every week or so with us.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I built a 4,000 sqft house and it took me 4 months from start to finish.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
The best advice I can give to anyone looking to have services done is to not only go with the cheapest contractor because that can just lead to expensive repairs later on and headaches. Also looking at the company reviews is something to look for and most importantly find a company that cares about you and the project that you want done. I hear lots of bad stories where contractors only wanna get the job done as quickly as possible get paid and leave and sacrifice on quality.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
It all depends on the project that is needed to get done. For an example if the project is replacing flooring. Good questions to ask is what type of flooring are you looking for maybe flooring that is easier to clean or maybe you would like quality flooring that will feel good/comfortable walking on and that will last a long time. So asking questions about different types of material. Also a good question to ask is asking what type of payments are accepted sometimes you might want to pay with a credit card and pay off the project with monthly payments.
