What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing is simple! We take a look at your project/ideas/plans then we análise the time frame it would take to complete as well as the level of difficulty your project imposes. Based on that we give the customers a quote for labor and a separate quote for materials that will be needed if any.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to get straight to the point get to know what they want and what they except of me so I can get a feel of how to better accommodate the customer.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a bachelors degree in economics and I’m quite good at math… this has proven to be a wonderful asset when mathematics and physics come into play throughout the duration of a project. I’ve also taken a few art classes and wood turning classes essentially helping my work and attention to detail stand out. As for training… well I’ve been doing this my entire life!!!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I Grew up on a farm in the middle of nowhere! We built everything ourselves from scratch… from our barns to our living room hardwood floors. I always enjoyed working with my hands so I decided to make a living out of it.

What types of customers have you worked with?

All types each with their own particular requests and needs.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

All projects hold a special place in our heart !!! We love doing home improvement such as cabinetry, bars, trim etc! Recently however, we built a deck taking a proximity 9 days to complete! It surrounded a hot tub and was a 2 story deck.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make 2 budgets….One you are hoping to spend the next the max you are willing to spend. Get several quotes and see if they are within your parameters. Don’t always go for the cheapest offer, they are often cheaper for a reason and not always good reasons.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Do your expectations match your budget? Is your time frame for completion of your project realistic? Do I need a permit ? Is your project approved/allowed by the HOA/town/county?
