Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We are a no nonsense company with decades of experience in the industry. Based on this experience, we are able to complete your project quicker, safer, better and for less money than the industry standard. We have a set labor fee for kitchens and baths that may adjust depending on your scope of work. We offer a 10% discount to all veterans and COVID health service personnel.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We will schedule a time to come out to your property and go over your proposed project together. We will answer all your questions concerning budget, design, timetables and any other questions you may have for us. It's our job to ensure you are comfortable with both the scope of the project and the budget...not to mention comfortable with us.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Over 40 years experience in the construction industry - Associates Degree in Building Trades - Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management from CSU

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Ha, that was over 40 years ago! It's what I do...

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
From blue collar to white collar to retired customers, we have completed $7,000 remodels to one's well over $100,000. I'm not sure there's a type of customer we haven't worked with!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I am fond of and proud of all of our projects...we're not happy until our customer is happy! Every job is different, every design is different, but a standard bath with no layout modifications can be completed in as little as a week, and a kitchen with the same parameters normally takes closer to 2-3 weeks .

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
The construction trade is like any other industry, there are good contractors and not so good contractors. -Make sure they're licensed and insured -Make sure they have years of experience in the services you are requesting -Make sure your personalities don't clash -Trust your gut instinct as to their ability and trustworthiness.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
The most important is obviously budget. The one thing we always stress to our clients is, make sure you get what you want. There's nothing worse than trying to save a few hundred dollars and not being happy with the end result because of it. Second would be to have a basic sense of the design you want, it'll make the preliminary design process move along quickly and smoothly. From there we can help you finalize your design and point you in the right direction concerning where to look for materials and finishes that will fit your budget.
