Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Each contract varies based on the scope of your project. There are many reasons price differentials exist in construction and remodeling. Here are a few reasons; manufacturing cost, production cost, variations in local tax rates, etc. We do our best to provide the best value and workmanship.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We’ll kick things off with a free consultation to review the specifics of the project. We meet with each customer individually to learn more about what you want to see out of the renovation.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
We are licensed General Contractors. We have between us move than 20 years of experience in residential construction. In order to stay competitive we attend quarterly training seminars to learn new techniques, new materials and changing legalities.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Started in 2008, in the real estate world, when we bought properties for a quick fix & flip. It didn't take long and we fell in love with the process of bringing some beauty to many properties. We realized the need for skills that combine Integrity, precision, creativity and hands on project management in the construction world.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
every customer is different. Each has a different vision for their project and a rough idea how to execute the plan. It is my job to educate, communicate and execute.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
There are so many. I have just finished a complete home renovation project. It includes a brand new custom kitchen (with removal of structural wall), 2 bathrooms renovation, 4 bedrooms. We upgraded all the wiring and plumbing in the house (The house was built in the 70's), new flooring, new paint, roofing. The house look so beautiful now that it is almost impossible to vision it the way it used to be.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I would suggest to meet with different contractors and take the time to discuss the project with them. It is important to make sure the builder has the experience, but not less than that - make sure communication and "good feeling" is there. You are going to work very close with the contractor and you want to feel comfortable with his experience & his personality.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
. Call a neighborhood realtor for advice on how much your property is worth and how much your project might increase the value. 2. Study remodeling & construction magazines for budgeting hints. 3. Explore financing options. 4. Contact your local building department regarding rules and restrictions based on the scope of your project. 5. If you are considering an addition, pull the most recent set of plans from your local building department and we can help you with the design and if you so choose, build it for for you.
