How did you get started doing this type of work?
We have always been passionate about remodeling and home design, but our interest in construction started much earlier. Growing up, we were always curious about how things work—whether it was electrical, plumbing, or structural components of a home. From a young age, we helped our dads on construction sites, learning the fundamentals of building and problem-solving firsthand.
As we got older, we pursued careers in the industry, working for some of the top companies in construction. Along the way, we had the privilege of learning from the best mentors, who taught us not only how to do the work but how to do it at the highest level of craftsmanship. With over eight years of hands-on experience in interior remodeling, we founded Sunset Design and Build to bring that expertise directly to homeowners—delivering high-quality renovations with a streamlined and transparent process.
