What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
The most common thing I have heard about from my clients, friends, and family members that hire contractors is that majority of the time price with reflect quality of work. I am not recommending hiring the most expensive contractor, but warning people about the super cheap bids. When there is a price that is a small percentage of the other estimates and seems too good to be true, it usually is too good to be true.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
The three major things I would recommend going over with a professional to make sure you are on the same page: 1. Price. Super important to be on the same page with price and make sure the price is set in stone and not going to rise as the project goes on. 2. Timing. You want to make sure that you are being prioritized and put into a schedule. With exterior painting weather can always push projects back, but you don't want other clients to take priority over you. Make sure you are in the schedule! 3. The quality of products being used. Make sure you and the professional are on the same page about the paint and other materials being used!
