Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We offer full-service painting with a clearly outlined scope of work, ensuring no surprises. Our goal is to keep the process simple and straightforward, so you’ll know exactly what to expect every step of the way.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Our process begins with a free consultation where we assess your space and discuss your vision for the project. After this, we provide a clear, written estimate with details about labor, materials, and timeline. If you decide to move forward, we’ll schedule the work and keep you updated throughout the process. We always ensure thorough prep work to ensure a flawless finish, and we’re available to answer questions anytime during the job.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have years of hands-on experience in the painting industry, along with training in both residential and commercial painting techniques. I also stay up-to-date with the latest products, tools, and best practices by attending industry workshops and courses. Our team is trained to handle all aspects of painting, from surface preparation to finishing.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I got started in the painting industry after graduating from University of Washington Business School looking to start a new venture. After years of working on personal projects and realizing my passion for transforming spaces. Over time, I honed my skills and began taking on larger projects, eventually forming Alltech Painting using my learned skills from school. I’m dedicated to providing top-tier service with a focus on quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We work with a wide range of customers, including homeowners, property managers, and businesses in the Seattle area. Our clients come from both the residential and commercial sectors, including high-end properties, multi-family buildings, and local businesses. We've worked at hotels such as Inn at the Market and the Roosevelt, multi-housing projects such as the Terrace Station Apartments, and have provided a range of painting services for The Boeing Company for many years. And of course, we deeply value the homeowners of the greater Seattle area, as well as our commercial clients. Whether it’s a home or a business, we tailor our services to meet the unique needs of each customer.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
One of my favorite recent projects was painting a 1920s home with extensive peeling and moisture damage. We spent several days scraping, sanding, and moisture testing the surface before applying a high-quality, long-lasting finish. The project took about a week, and the transformation was incredible. The homeowner was thrilled with the results, and it’s always rewarding to bring an old home back to life.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
When hiring a painting professional, make sure they have experience with the type of work you're requesting, whether it's exterior painting, interior work, or specialty projects like staining. Also, ensure they provide a written estimate that outlines the project scope, pricing, and timeline. Communication is key—choose a provider who is transparent and responsive to your needs.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Before reaching out, consider the following: What is your budget for the project? Do you have a color scheme or style in mind? Are there any surface issues that need attention (e.g., moisture, peeling paint)? What is your preferred timeline for the work to be completed? Thinking through these details will help us provide a more accurate estimate and timeline.
