We are a family-run home services business in the metro Richmond area with 12 years of experience in Kitchen and bath remodels. We transform kitchens by using refinishing or refacing your cabinets without the cost, time or hassle of a cabinet replacement remodel. We install a factory finish on your cabinets and can also change out countertops, backsplashes and cabinet hardware. We are insured and licensed contractors.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Only that the pricing can vary substantially whether you are talking about a repainting or refacing of cabinets. Both are less expensive than cabinet replacement remodels but we give a lifetime limited warranty on the refacing.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We come out to your home to provide a consult on your cabinets and discuss with you your vision for how you want the cabinets to look.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We are certified in cabinet re-facing and have taken many painting related courses as well as our years of experience in cabinetry.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We started out building custom cabinets and then evolved to being a full-service kitchen and bath dealer. Over the years, we have advised people on various cabinet problems, and we just decided that it was a great service to offer customers who were not quite yet ready to do a full replacement remodel.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked with customers across the full spectrum and many realtors. Refer us to their customers who are buying and selling.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

When we contacted the customer about cabinet painting, they also wanted new countertops and drawer boxes. This takes a little longer than just a cabinet painting job so that it is up taking two weeks. It looked fantastic after we were through.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure you see examples of their work.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Check on their reviews and licensing, as well as insurance to make sure you’re dealing with a reputable source. If possible work with someone who has a brick and mortar business rather than a freelancer.
