Introduction

I just moved to Richmond in 2022 but have been working steadily as a painter since 2020, including as a scenic artist on my fourth feature film in early 2022. My paintings are in the homes of satisfied collectors across the US and Canada. Now that I am designing and painting murals full-time, I am committed to customer satisfaction and thrilled to be adding beauty and color to your home or business. Thank you for considering me!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I charge my rates based on difficulty and square feet. One flat rate will include design fees, all materials and supplies, any scaffolding or staging, and the mural fee.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have painted sets, backdrops and props for theater and film (four feature films under my belt!) and have run my own small art business selling original paintings for three years now.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I helped out a few friends who were professional muralists and realized I could do it, too!

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with private individuals in residential settings and commercial rebuilds as a contractor.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I really enjoyed working on the barber shop I recently painted. It took a few days to gather all the necessary materials and supplies, project the stencil, and then prepare the stencil. It took seven hours of actual painting on the day of!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Please have good photos of your wall(s), the room as a whole, and any references you like. Please also know your wall’s measurements - that’s how we make estimates.
