Hiring a mural painter is one of the most essential steps to consider when you’re looking to create and energize a wall. However, just as it is with a lot of renovation methods, there are certain steps you’ll also need to take in order to be effectively prepared for wall murals. Of course, your mural painter will most likely cover your furniture with plastic sheets. However, it is still important for you to make sure that the furniture isn’t in the way. No one wants to waste any time with stumbling on furniture, especially if they have a paint bucket to maneuver as well. If you can, have you furniture moved out of the place being painted. If there’s no place to put the furniture, then you can move all of the furniture to the center of the room. Also, keep in mind that the furniture to be moved also includes any wall paintings, pictures, clocks, and other types of hangings. Painting a crowded wall isn’t easy now, is it? Outlet covers and switch plates will have to go. This is one little step that gets ignored by a lot of people all too often. While it’s not much of a big deal if most outlet covers or switch plates get paint on them, you’ll find it easier to just remove them. The material of these things makes it especially difficult to remove dried paint from them. Also, if you have really nice platers and covers, then you should definitely remove them when you get a mural painter.

We listen to all your projects needs, then ask follow-up questions regarding your project. Then create a project plan that fits your budget.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a trained fine artist with a college degree (BA Fine Arts) w/ a business minor. For over the past decade I have gained the know-how, experience, and expertise to deliver for each and every one of my clients, which is proven in our past mural painting works.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I began drawing in the 2nd grade. My art teachers inspired and pushed me to hone my natural creative abilities. From paintings, drawings, sculptures to graffiti, my works we're shown in student art shows. In college I discovered that Art was my passion, thus I began to deepen my creative skillset and pursue my own artist path where I created and installed sculptures, art installations and famed Street Art Alley called PRAWN ALLEY. As a trained ARTIST with a BA in General Arts accompanied with a business minor. My artistic spirit turned me into an entrepreneur, small business owner, and former professional football player. When I was in college I started this business and it has blossomed into a success. I truly love my profession, because each project is completely different and the challenges are constantly changing, this makes my job very exciting, rewarding and continues my growth as an artist.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked with all types for clients from residential, commercial and local governments, private clients, gyms, new businesses, restaurants, retail, construction companies, and architectural firms.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

This Public Art Landmark and iconic building mural is Instagram worthy, eye-popping, vibrant, eccentric, and creates an optical illusion with its subway stencil tile pattern. This project took 8 weeks from start to finish. We were awarded a bronze plaque with our name on it. We are the mural painters, mural artists, and muralists that paint iconic murals, public murals, building murals, and mural paintings. We continue to paint one of a kind murals and custom wall murals. By collaborating and working with developers, businesses, and local city governments, we are transforming landscapes and cityscapes with prolific murals that inspire, empower, and uplift surrounding communities.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

You really want to do your homework on the mural company or mural artist doing the work. A great resource is the internet, so Google the mural painting company and/ mural artist or muralists to see if they have a good reputation and read their reviews on YELP, Google+, Houzz, Thumbtack, Facebook, etc. and look at there previous work. If you like what you see send them an email, call/text them to discuss next steps. The most successful mural artists and/ mural companies have been able to scale their mural painting services to the global market.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

The more you can articulate your vision & project goals the better it is for us to customize a mural design that will meet and exceed all of your expectations. The more images and questions you have for us the better. You really want gauge the strengths and limitations of your project. Write a list of 5-9 questions and share 9-5 images of inspiration with us. Educating yourself on art styles of wall mural and staying engaged is key in this process. We really enjoy when customers want to become knowledgeable and get excited about our creative process.
