What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I do not charge for consultations. I do not charge for drawings. I do not charge for color boards. I am a one man show, I will be the one responsible for all aspects of the project.... and I am very tidy:)

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to actually meet the new client and see the space first hand they are interested in having done. the first interaction is much like an interview, we will discuss likes and dislikes, color options etc... I will then generate a concept drawing of the project.... make any adjustments, then schedule the installation.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Bachelor of Interior Design & Minor in Fine Art... and 30 years of experience

How did you get started doing this type of work?

accidentally. I was asked to design & install a mural years ago as a class project.

I have been doing this kind of work for nearly 30 years... so, all kinds.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently designed and installed artwork up 2 staircases for a retired couple... about 6 weeks.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

talk with the artist you are considering... do your personalities mesh? do they charge for drawings? color boards?

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

style of artwork desired and the skill level of the artist. also, will the person selling the job be the one installing the job.
