I would like to comment about the 1 star review from Catey. The original bid was for 2 coats of white paint on walls and 1 coat on ceilings. I did multiple coats in every room. Every ceiling in the home took 2 coats of white paint. Spare room, office, hallway, living room, dining room, all walls took 3 coats of white paint. I didn’t ask for additional money until I painted the living room 3 coats. All other rooms where completed per bid at no additional cost. A 1 star review is very bias. It’s unfortunate that we could not come to an agreement to finish the mantle. I did subtract cost for the fireplace mantle and didn’t charge for unfinished work. Also, didn’t charge for upstairs rooms that need 3 coats of paint. I’ve added a note to each estimate stating additional cost for additional coats of paint will be discussed with homeowners. My original bid was adjusted to fit Catey’s budget. I moved all furniture besides the master bedroom, moved all furniture back, used drop clothes, and even let their dogs out when they were not home. I strive for great customer service! I bought paint at mine own cost due to a scheduling conflict and used white paint from my own supply to finish the living room. All and all Catey and her bf are good people. I could have shut my Thumbtack down for fear of a 1 star review but I didn’t.
