Hello! My name is Randi and I am a resource to bring visual art to exterior and interior spaces. I decided, 8 years ago, to commit myself to this profession and I am very fortunate to say that I am living that dream. To hire me would be hiring an artist that gives each project her all- from concept to creation. I specialize in historically themed murals, as well as nature-based projects. Realism and illustration are the styles I work in. Each mural is protected with a suitable top coat, resistant to graffiti and UVA/UVB rays. NOTE: Please know, before you message me (as I get charged for every inquiry) that my average rate for interior murals is $25/sq ft for a full color fully rendered piece. Exterior fluctuates due to a number of variables.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I make sure to consider location, accessibility and surface texture when formulating a price. I am capable of creating rough drafts, whether sketched by hand or digital, to your liking. Ultimately, my rate comes with high-quality work that will meet your needs.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a Bachelor's degree in graphic design.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started creating indoor murals for Giant Eagle while working as a visual merchandising leader several years ago. That transitioned to a desire to create work for other businesses, and eventually lead to creating exterior works. In 2020, I painted my largest mural to date, which was 3 stories tall. I hope to continue to evolve and expand.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with local businesses, the Fayette County Cultural Trust, the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny Land Trust, and residential clients.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I completed a three-story mural for a church in Connellsville. It was truly an honor to paint an image that means so much to so many. I also conquered my fear of heights during this project, using a 50 ft. boom lift to execute the painting.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My advice is to have an idea of the content you'd like, and the style. These decisions allow for the project to move quickly and prevent revisions during the design process.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Do you have a color scheme in mind? What style do you prefer? (realism, illustration, sketch, full color, b&w, etc.) Are you comfortable with a starting rate of $20/sq ft.? Do you have images you can share of the space and any references?
