What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Our process is simple. After initial contact, a quick call is scheduled to discuss your needs, budget, and schedule. Once we cover these items, we schedule a site visit and subsequently an estimate of the project. For smaller jobs, most pricing can be secured during the first call.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

After 6 years in the Marine Corps, I entered the workforce and quickly realized that I enjoyed construction services. 18 years of business ownership and then Corporate Project Management gives me a strong grasp of client needs as well as a high level understanding of budgets and schedules.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I've been working on projects of all sizes and levels since my teenage years. I enjoy watching a project grow into exactly what was designed or described by my clients.

All types from all backgrounds.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I was challenged with creating a solution for a patio cover attached to a 2 car garage. However, there was not enough clearance using the existing eave. I was able to source a riser that penetrated the roof and rested on the exterior wall, allowing us to gain an additional 24" of clearance. The challenge was exciting and results were rewarding.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Only consider those providers with verifiable insurance.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I find it helpful if you've already considered style, budget, and schedule when considering home improvements.
