What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We are very competitively priced and are Sherwin Williams certified. You can expect top quality paint. We offer Free estimates, Free Color Consultations, and Discounts throughout the year.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Our process begins with initial contact and a brief dialogue to understand the scope of your project needs. From there we work with you to schedule a convenient time where we can come assess your project space, perform measurements, assess surface conditions, answer any and all questions and in most instances, provide you a price on the spot. We will then email you a formal estimate (usually same day) for you to review. If you would like to move forward we will contact you to coordinate a preferred start date and will work within your needs to find a suitable time to begin. One of our Project Managers will arrive with the painters to begin your project, walk the space with you one last time to reconfirm the project scope, and ensure the right colors and products are selected to begin. Then, the Project Manager will visit on a routine basis to check in with you and the painters to ensure satisfaction during the project. Finally, once the project is complete our Project Manager will arrive to perform a quality assessment. Any spots not deemed to meet our quality standards will be marked with blue tape and the painters will follow behind to perform the proper touch-ups. Only when we feel the project is ready will we engage you to perform the same walk with us and confirm your agreement on completion. If during this walk you find additional areas of concern, we will identify them and remedy. We treat every customer's home as though it was our own. We also strive to meet or exceed your expectations... Painting is not an inexpensive project and the results will stick with you for years to come. With that, quality and customer satisfaction are our #1 driving force. We will work to make every job right and we will not leave until you're satisfied.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Painter1 has extensive training for all of our employees. Painting is a tradecraft and we pride ourselves on working with our vendors such as Sherwin Williams to stay on top of new products and applications as well as stick to our tried and true roots as professional painters.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We've been a part of the local Columbus community for many years. Our families are from different backgrounds but brought us together at Painter1 when our owner, Patrick Dial, was laid off from his corporate job in sales and marketing and went back to his roots that he learned in college. With an unmatched work ethic and a will to have something he could pass down to his daughter, Patrick created the company with pride and determination from the ground up.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We are available to paint within 2 weeks year round. A recent project we loved was painting for a Church in Worthington - the pastor needed the bell tower and interior offices done as well as the tall ceilings in the nave. We also painted the Altar and Sacristy. This project took over 2 weeks and we were able to provide a schedule that allowed for worship on Sundays.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Please make sure every company is insured and that they care about your safety and their workers safety. Also ask them if they provide any warranty for their work.
