I do not sub work out. I am involved in every job we do. I treat every project like I am working for myself. Customer satisfaction is the key to my business. The majority of my work is obtained via referral. I specialize in staining fences, decks, homes with wood siding, pergolas. I enjoy meeting people and working with them towards a common goal. I have a standard pricing system that is based upon the type of project.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I arrange a time to go out and look at the project. I gather measurements and get the customers input for the project. I then create a written estimate for the customer.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

My education/training consists of years of doing this type of work. I learn from every job I do. To provide the best quality service for the customer I consult with companies such as Standard Paints Wood Defender and Sherwin Williams Inc. to stay up to date with new products. Regarding Standard Paints Wood Defender I am a certified applicator of their products.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

In October I completed a cleaning, washing, staining project of a 4 board pasture fence. This fence was approximately 3/4 mile in length which made the job over 1.5 miles of linear feet. The project took a crew of 3 in excess of 60 hours each. It was a large project that was up against a tight deadline due to the weather. The job got completed in time and the customer was very happy with the results.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure exactly what product the contractor is applying to your project.
