What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Every project is different, which is why it is hard to give an estimate without seeing the project space first. Once we speak to the customer about what they are looking for and look at the space needing work, we can then come up with the proper material list and labor cost.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Once we receive an inquiry for a project, we set up a time to meet and see the client's space needing work, discuss what they are looking for and measure out all areas. Based on those criteria, we generate an estimate for the client to review. After accepting the estimate, a timeline is generated to begin the project.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

In addition to completing a certified home inspection course and becoming an ASHI certified home inspector, we have been performing painting and home improvements for over 15 years.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I began the business after several people saw the improvements in my own home and I started getting requests to assist them with their projects.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked with anyone looking to improve their living or work space, both residential and commercial. New builds and remodels on all budget levels.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Our favorite project is a bathroom remodel. It is amazing to see the difference a complete remodel can make to your home and the effect it has on the whole home and the customer. Depending on the size of the bathroom and the extent of the remodel, it can take 1-3 weeks.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask questions to see what the process is for completing the job and what materials they are fond of using. For any job, we want the end result to look the best it can. We complete the labor with pride to make sure it looks the best but it also depends on the materials that are chosen. We can do the absolute best job possible, but if cheap materials are used, it won't look the best or last like it should.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Ask anything on your mind. This is your house/ space and your money. You deserve to know what's going on and how you are going to get your money's worth.
