What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing is a based on size and design for murals. A free consultation is always recommended so I can see the space and meet with you to discuss all ideas!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

start with the free consultation. create a layout and discuss various options. approval by client, then work is scheduled.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a degree from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh as well as 30+ years in the art industry. Mural work and painting is more than a job, its a passion. I am the only Internationally recognized muralist/decorative painter in WNY. Its a high honor to be chosen and admitted.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started drawing when i was a very small child. Pursued my art degree and went on to hand paint billboards. Yes they were hand painted at one time! Decided to use my talents to create whatever my clients desired. I can and do use a very wide range of mediums.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with all types of customers; residential, commercial, interior designers, etc.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

i am currently working on an outside mural for a medical office. its very large and located on Southwestern Blvd and California st. it should take about 3 weeks to complete. The NYC scene in front of Garden Place hotel is a favorite as well as the mural on the outside of the Riveria Theatre in Tonawanda and the Lancaster Water Tank. The water tank holds special meaning since its a tribute to all first responders.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

i would ask what type of paints are used, the odor involved. If its mural work, I would ask if its a stencil or hand drawn. I am one of the few that free hands all work. I like to continue the old world traditions.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Budget is always number one. I can work with in any budget, but goals should be realistic. The placement of the mural, or area for decorative painting. How long will it take. What are the payment terms? Upkeep needed?
