Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our pricing holds true to the national average, which is lower than the local average, at $3.00-3.50 per sq ft painted. This includes the paint/material cost. To keep it simple, half of the job cost is required up front before starting so that the materials can be bought and the other half is payed once the job is complete.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
First I introduce myself and company so that the customer knows exactly who they are dealing with. I typically come to the property to get eyes on the job so that I know exactly what needs to be done and to create a relationship with my customer to build trust and true understanding as to why they would like to have their environment updated. Then I come up with a quote and write a proposal which is agreed upon and signed by us both. A start date is chosen and the work gets done perfectly to the customers needs/wants. After all is said and done, I continue the professional relationship with my customers so that they are serviced in the future for any paint needs and know who to trust and come to with any questions.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
-8 years of painting experience both commercial and residential. -First company started in Florida as a general contractor then moved to Philadelphia and re-opened as a painting business.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started in the remodeling business working with my Dad for the first year who has been a licensed General Contractor for close to 20 years. He taught me all sorts of trades, not just painting, but painting really took my attention and I decided to hone in on that skill specifically. From then on I continued to develop my skills and to this day keep up with learning anything I can in being able to run a successful company and take care of the clients as individuals each time.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look for someone you trust. Skill is important but that comes secondary.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Is this something I can do myself? (Saves LOTS of money) What is the average cost to paint in the area (w/ and w/o paint/supplies)? What is the national average cost to paint (w/ and w/o paint/supplies)? Is this a trustworthy person/company? What color paint do I want?
