What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We charge $85 per hour. Larger projects can bid by the job and receive discounts.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We discuss the scope of the project and get the specifics of the job. Often times I will order the materials ahead of time or the customer has already purchased the materials for install.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been in the building trades for over 20 years. I have remodeled 19 homes and done hundreds of smaller projects.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I went to a trade school for high school and my family always owned rentals that needed maintenance.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I work with home and condo owners. I also worked with apartment dwellings.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently installed an entire closet including all the shelving and trim.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Check their reviews and ask lots of questions when you speak to the pro.

Know what your goal and budgets are for the project. Know the outcome you are looking for and try to convey this to the pro.
